BETA PHOTO: The power line buttress from the car park

Description

This buttress is right at the confluence of Kane Creek Canyon and the Colorado river on the down Stream side. It's about 400' tall and has an obvious dome like summit. It doesn't get much sun so it's a nice summer area.

Getting There

The buttress is literally the down stream corner of Kane creek and the river canyon. Park in the large area at the mouth of kane creek canyon. Follow Jackson's trail across the creek(down River)and up the talus to the buttress. It is only a ten minute hike and you can see the buttress from the car. Just follow the power lines.
