Pensive Putterman above Kane Springs Road

Description

This is the very small tower on the southwest side of the road almost a mile before you get to the Kane Creek crossing. It is on the main road approximately 100-200 yards away from the Happy Turk formation.

Getting There

Driving south into Kane Creek Valley on the right side of the road about 1 mile before you get to Kane Creek. You will see the Happy Turk formation out on your left.

I've done this short, dirty, pathetic climb. It IS a desert tower...(barely...), and it IS very close to the road. Kane Springs area is very beautiful, but as far as the climbing;....it pretty much sucks. If you are bored and are a greedy-goat desert tower summit collector...(I admit it;..I am..)....then this climb is for YOU!......(Now you are probably curious enough to go do it;......you are sick and need help, my friend...) Cam Burns and his Putterman climbs......he must be one twisted fellow.....I've done a number of his climbs........
