Bowling Ball Head, Maple Canyon

Description

Great consistantly forming route. Steeper than it looks (a consistant Maple theme). Sometimes a thin start but usually thicker ice as the anchor is approached.

Location

Located on the far left side of the Engagement Alcove. Usually the top of the route is visible from the road by the campground/kiosk. Bolted anchor on the rock buttress on the left.

Protection

Selection of screws.
