Description

This buttress is the one situated up and right of the Shadow Buttress. If you are looking at the Long Shadow ( on the Shadow Buttress) it's the buttress to the immediate right, just over the cleft.

This buttress was named after big machinery that awoke us in the morning. There was 3 dumptrucks, a semi towing a big ass backhoe, and a party of pick-ups in tow. They unleashed the crane over by the Children of the Corn boulder, they took one scoop, and left. Lets hope they stay away....The Shamrock Mining Company.....

Getting There

Approach same as Long Shadow, from the base (of Long Shadow), hike up and right into the gully. About 40 yards up the gully look for a large ledge on your left, hike to the end of the ledge (south). From the base look to the south to the next buttress, you should see the chains for the top of the 1st pitch of The Long Shadow over the cleft. The routes start here
