Description Suggest change

Upper Dinosaur Rock is smaller, more broken and has fewer routes than Lower Dinosaur Rock, but Neanderthal Jam (5.10b), Jurassic Crack (5.10c) and Blood Donor (5.12b) are standouts of the area.

  • The rock here is extremely sharp, even by Keller Peak standards, so taping up (for the crack climbs) is highly recommended.

Getting There Suggest change

Upper Dinosaur Rock may be reached by hiking upslope from Lower Dinosaur Rock or more directly from a point about 0.25 miles up the road from Campsite 2. The approach takes 5-15 minutes depending upon the route taken.
