UoU Freshmen looking for climbing partners

I just moved into Salt Lake City, and I'm stoked about the climbing in this area. The problem is... I don't know anyone. At all. I'm a freshman up at the university, and I'd love to get better at climbing and explore the canyons up here. I have some experience, like I can lead/lead belay, but I want to work on actual climbing ability. If anyone's interested, respond or PM? Thanks y'all :D

You are in luck as the Salt Lake Climber's Alliance Climbing Festival is this weekend.

They also sponsor a lot of crag improvement and cleanup events. Attending these is a great way to find other climbing partners.

You might also check to see if the U has a climbing club. These are always a great way to meet other climbers and find someone with a similar skill level, or join climbing trips to learn new skills.

Up for whatever including a gym partner as my partners don't get out as much as I'd like too.

One caveat my leg is broken in a boot right now. Should be climbing in 3 weeks.

Thanks for the response guys, I'll definitely be hitting y'all up. I'm super stoked for the festival this weekend, and I hope I meet even more awesome climbing peeps there. Climbing people are the best of the peoples :D
