| | Fragile Alpine Area MORE INFO >>>
This is a fragile alpine bouldering area and following Leave No Trace principles is important. Never stash pads. Do not alter landings, chip or glue holds, or remove or alter vegetation. Walk on hard surfaces such as boulders or established trails. Store your gear on boulders instead of dirt or vegetation. Clean up spilled chalk and tick marks and brush holds. Keep your presence low key and unobtrusive. Pack out everything you brought and anything else that shouldn't have been left there. RMNP rangers are very aware of the impact that bouldering has on this environment.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

The line (albeit blurry). Will replace with a bet...
Description About 3/4 of a mile down the trail, there is a nice spur trail around the south side of this little boulder that has a problem or two. Its north face is much shorter. The obvious line goes up a tiny face on jugs.
Getting There About 3/4 of a mile down the trail on the south side of the trail. It is short of the old Arch Rock backcountry site.

Erin's Route V0- CO : Alpine Rock : ... : Unknown Boulder
This line has probably been done previously, but an obvious starting jug broke off. Erin, 7, wanted to boulder and inspired an ascent by an infrequent boulderer. So, for now, we'll have a more interesting name than "Unknown" until you cough up the "real" name. There is a nice sidepull and undercling start that go to jugs on a vertical face.... | Is this just Moraine Park? |

| Tcamillieri, I guess it depends on what is exactly Moraine Park. It is pretty close to the old Arch Rock backcountry campsite. It's ~3/4 of a mile from the Fern Lake Trailhead, where you would start if you were climbing Days of Heaven or The Wasp on Rock of Ages, Jaws (WI4), going to climb Night of the Unicorn, 5.8, at The Lost World, or walking to The Pool. |
