Description

This route starts with some thin-ish face climbing just right of Unknown 1. The crux is low and then you follow the quasi loose features and edges to the top. Nuts can go in a horizontal for added protection if needed.

Location

This is the bolted line just right of Unknown 1 and left of the Center Dinosaur Crack. Mussy Hooks at the top.

Protection

8 bolts lead to Mussy Hook anchors. A few nuts will protect between the bolts.

This route and its cousin Unknown 1 are nice additions to the wall, since the main events are just not that good. I would not go back to do any of the Dinosaur Cracks again, but with these two face routes it makes for an okay outing and almost worth the approach.

This route has a cool two finger shallow pocket near the second bolt. Using it is pretty neat, the most memorable part of the climb.
