This route ascends the left side of what could be an excellent slab climb. This route and its companion, Unknown 2, are unfortunate, because the slab climb that splits the two routes is great and would have been a wonderful addition to the area at a 10+ grade.

Climb the left side of the slab laying back and sometimes straddling the offwidth crack.

Climb this route to get to the anchors, so you can top rope the slab to its right.

Starting from the left, this is the first bolted route.

Rating: doing this using the crack/lieback on the bottom part, then following the bolt line (last 4 or so bolts to the anchor) is about 10c. This route is not a bomb, it's fun and good rock. The last few bolts on the face are fun. 2 stars.

The shared anchors for this route and Unknown #2 can be reached by hiking around the crag to setup top-rope if you don't want to lead the climbs. You can also hike directly to the anchors, set up a top-rope, and rap to the base.
