DescriptionThe University Of California - Berkeley has several buildering problems throughout campus that are quite enjoyable. This is definitely NOT a destination area, but if you're on campus or close to campus, these problems are technical and quite an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon or evening. Getting ThereFrom SF: Head East on 80 over the bay bridge, and then take the 580W fork towards Berkeley / Sacramento. Exit University Ave, which is in a few miles. Take the left ramp to university, and head gently uphill for 2.5 miles or so. You'll run right into campus, there is more (not a lot when school's in session) parking on the streets on the north side of campus. This problem heads horizontally along the north facing corner system on the East (far uphill) part of the Doe Library, which is right in the middle of campus. The route starts on the left end of a system of outside and inside corners, at a point where a large straight wall full of pockets of windows ends, and a small foot rail and vertical 3" left blocked corner picks up, about 6' from the first outside corner, along a system of large 2' tall granite blocks.
