Stone Garden is there, and this weekend we went to Haystack Mountain. What other areas are worth hauling a pad to? (:

Hey! I was one of the original boulderers (I think) for Haystack Mountain and I just saw this post and I am curious--is anyone going up there? enjoying it? I kind of climbed up there for two summers in a vacuum and then moved to colorado without publishing anything about. I loved it--the scenery, the movement and rock quality--just sort of thought it would become a much frequented place in the summer, but periodically when searching for info on it, it seems not a lot of people are checking it out....

I think the obscure location and trail finding required keeps people from going there a lot. We found some sport routes up there as well. When I tried posting the boulders and routes we found a couple of users sent me a message asking me not to post anything yet, since they were still developing the area. I have yet to see any area added to this site, so my guess is they want it to be a secret, they are writing a guide book, or the other various possibilities of why it never was added. I love the area though. Even for hiking it is phenomenal place to go. You get all the glory of the Uintahs, without the crowds! Once I am done with school at the end of 2020 I plan to spend more time up there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
