Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment

Description This stout little pitch is found on the small slab between Rooster Tail (on The Hens and Chickens) and the Yosemite Crack crag. It's the obvious, thin, left-leaning seam that splits the center of the slab. Start in a steep, left-facing corner down and left of the seam. Climb the corner, hand traverse right and stand up to where two cracks diverge. The one on the right can be climbed at 5.7ish (One In The Stink), but it isn't nearly as cool, or clean, as the seam on the left. Climb the seam with excellent protection (small stoppers and RPs) to a desperate crux at its top where it meets a right-angling crack. Either hand traverse right on the crack or get your feet up in it and top out more directly.
Protection Standard rack up to #3 Camalot. Be sure to bring tiny stoppers and RPs for the seam.

There's something about this route name that offends me. What does that mean, exactly? Are you some kind of semi-retarded high-school student? Do you ever stop boxing the clown long enough to consider the implications of your hurtful words? "One in the stink?" Do you really think that's funny? Did you ever stop to think that you could hurt people with your demeaning words? Why are you so full of hate? I think we should petition the site managers to control this kind of hurtful misogyny. What happened to you long ago to make you like this? Just because your coach did those things to you doesn't mean you have to lash out at everyone else. Sally C.

This is an outstanding climb with many advanced rock climbing [proficiencies,] Sally. I found this climb to offer [opportunities] for three in the pink when two was not enough. One of the three fingered flared pink slots gives you a [privileged] rest before the last crux. I have only [TR'ed] T.I.T.P. & looking forward to the redpoint. The best part is this climb is all trad.

Sweet route, although way over my head fun moves. Look forward to [being] able to actually climb something this hard. Don't know why Sally Cummings got so upset about the name though. What exactly is "Boxing the Clown" Sally?

Why are you so full of hate, Jason?

Hmmmm...that's a BIG question. I wonder where it comes from though? This route description doesn't seem to ooze hatred. So, where are you coming from, Phil? Let's have an honest chat about my hatred, and your interest in it....

You're bangin' Sally, aren't you?

You just like to lash out at people. What happened to you, Jason?! Actually I think it's a great name.

Fair enough. Not sure what happened....
