Description A small ice fall forms where Twin Ponds flows over the dam near Enger Tower (by the swimming beach). A good place to go to swing your new tools or practice placing screws...
Forms a low angle slab and a hollow pillar and is occassionally used by the university to introduce students to the basics of ice climbing.
Location At Twin Ponds near Enger Tower on Skyline Parkway.
Protection Top rope from the railing.

| This year the ice cone is fully formed and there is some thinner stuff (almost verglas) to the left of the main flow. There are some nice rock ledges and cracks for basic mixed moves as well. Fun to play around on. |
