Anyone have a condition report on the road in?

was in there on 11/18 and the road was in great shape. passable by most passenger cars. not sure now with the snow since then but would think no problem w/ a 4WD?

Snowed in deep currently. Best stay away for a while (Or at least until I go there and do all the routes I want to).

I was up there Jan 6 with my Nissan Pathfinder using 4x4 with super bald tires. Road was packed down and looking nice. No problems. You'd probably be fine with low clearance AWD.

Was up there on Saturday 01/19/13.

At the old campground the snow was about ankle deep in spots. The road down was snow packed but not too bad at all.

Anyone been up there recently and can give an update on the road condition?

A Ferrari might not make it. Most other cars will. A Subaru can take it at 20MPH in the hands of a capable driver. (I took it at 20-25 last time.)

Gary, I will be heading up there for the day on Saturday. I have a Saab wagon, I think if I drive 'adeptly' it will suffice.

Ended up at Cathedral Spires and had a great time. No snow there at all.
