Anyone been down to Turkey recently? Trying to get information re: road access/snow, etc. Thanks.

Drove all the way to the trail today. Road is currently drivable as long as you have a 4x4 and decent tires.

Any mud, or just packed snow? Wondering if AWD w/ snows would be good enough.

Pretty snowy. The couple steep sections on the approach would be difficult (and shitty to get a tow) in a Subaru or something similar.

Just packed snow, there will probably be a little mud on a warm day. An AWD with snow tires is fine as long as you have good ground clearance. No cell service and you'll probably be the only one to travel the road that day so DO NOT get stuck.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
