Tucson Buildering problems...

The new dorms on 6th and Euclid are killing me, every time I drive by I want to either bolt it or invent a new cam for it. The building has little half bricks every 10-12 inches that are inset 1/4-1/2 of an inch.

I figured this may be a good spot to post some buildering problems, pictures of you buildering or just buildings around town that you would love to climb if you had the chance.

The aerate is featured the same way, so tempting. I would call it a 5.10 or 5.11 but without actually climbing it and the fact that I suck at grading stuff I'm mostly talking out of my ass.

All the rock around the U-Mart on campus is textured rocklike bricks that feel like 5.11ish when you pull on them. Super super super awesome stuff. I want to play on it with some shoes but I dont want to guess how quick they would rip me off.

For even more fun there are a few offwidth cracks in the Highland parking garage. For me it was hand fist stacks. I got 1 move off the ground before UAPD was yelling at me. You could protect it with big gear.....

I see buildering opportunities all the time, but feel fortunate that since living in Tucson I haven't felt the need to climb any building or other structures. When I lived in flatlands, away from rock, I climbed damn near anything I could find. Buildings, bridges, water towers, breaking into the ropes course at my college, jungle gym boulder problems, tree bouldering...anything for a fix of vertical movement. Luckily, now I live near a wealth of stone, and get all the climbing I need.

Adam, I forwarded that photo to campus police, FYI.

Thanks Joe but I already sent it to them, it's a shame you can't ID the guy in the photo but maybe they will get a lead from those Pumas or something.

There is also some pretty amazing stemming to be found behind the speech and language building (or the architecture building, the one on Speedway with the glass front) on the east side of that parking lot.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
