Climber at the thin crux of Tsunami.
Add Photo Printer View
Description One of the best sport climbs on one of the best cliffs on Mt. Lemmon. Tsunami is the last route on the right side of the cliff before the arete. Climb elegant moves to a good rest halfway up the route. The crux involves cranking on small crimps. Gets morning shade.

I concur that this is one of the best sport climbs on Mt. Lemmon. I also believe this is a good guage for all of the other 12's on Lemmon. Anyone who climbs Tsunami will not be disapointed.

I wouldn't say that this is the best on Lemmon, but I think it's pretty darn good! Very sustained movement over great holds.

I rarely upgrade, but did for this to 12c for shorties. As you can see in on of the photos you can hit the crux hold with a great right foot if you're tall, but have to move up to terrible feet if you're short, tipping the scale from 12b to 12c in my opinion.
