Description

One of the most classic and adventurous bush-climbing locations in Kenya. In the heart of the park famed for the "man-eating lions of Tsavo", Kitchwa Tembo is a massive formation that rises out of the top of a hill. A long and punishing bush-whack approach brings you to a variety of multi-pitch adventure with an alpine feel, despite the heavy heat. Be ready for a full day.

Camp near the river and watch out for hippos and elephant.
