Description Located on the east face of Fisherman's Buttress, this is the 2nd route from the right. Start up a ramp/slab that leads up and left to the 1st bolt, and then launch up the vertical face on positive but spaced edges. The crux is near the top and requires good balance, a cool head and faith in the next holds. An area classic. Of interest - In April 1994 Peter Eastman Jr. changed his name to Trout Fishing In America. The 17-year-old from Santa Barbara figured it would be cool to name himself after a book he liked. Rumor has it he goes by "Trout". (from snopes.com)
Protection 6 bolts, sport anchors

| It seems like all the edges on this route face the wrong way, makes it a bit tricky. The crux up top took me a couple tries, but was great when i figured it out. |

| The guide has it down as 11c but I think 11b is fair. Fun climbing, and with good footwork the crux isn't too bad. |
