Anja red pointing Trela.

Description

An amazing line through endless tufas except for the huge one which broke a few years ago and made a new crux. Try to rest on the tufas as you go, there are about three to rest on.

This route should be cleaned on top rope to avoid ripping off any tufas.

Location

On the right side of the Grand Grotto.

Protection

bolts

A classic for sure, it still felt strenuous despite all the rests, but perhaps a little easier than DNA. It was full contact tufa fin climbing with a defined crux and creative body positioning. The bolts are placed perfectly. I cleaned it by tramming in and it wasn't too bad. Just mind where your rope is before yanking the draw. Have fun!

Having a few long runners and 20cm draws can really help reduce rope drag up high.
