Treatment Bound, 10a on The Bend.

Seasonal Bird Closure MORE INFO >>>

Description

Highly recommended climb that follows the nice finger crack immediately to the right of the obvious pentagon-shaped roof that makes up Tiers and Salmon Song.

One can start in the enjoyable thin crack of Cruel Harvest (on right) and make a transition left into the crack of Treatment Bound. Or, one can take the more direct route via the true start, though it did appear vegetated and far less fun.

Protection

Gear to 2". As with most of the routes on this section of wall, emphasis is on the small stuff.

Location

The crack to the right of the pentagon shaped roof; ~10' left of Pure Joy. See beta photo under Bend West.

IMO, the moves on the actual start to Treatment Bound (especially moving around the little roof) are more fun than anything on Cruel Harvest. Check it out next time!

I thought it was hard (the move out of the roof..and then it just gets harder :) - esp. compared to some of the other 10a's on the wall. Nice climbing like all the other routes here.
