I'll be traveling through Thailand on my way to New Zealand with a single pack, and was wondering if anyone had advice for traveling with my climbing gear. Whats most important to bring with me, what gear is easy to find, is my gear going to be a giant target for thieves.

Also, I've been hearing that you're only allowed to bring one large piece of sporting equipment into Indonesia, am I going to run into any problems trying to get my climbing gear over borders?
