| Anyone have the Trango Skull Cap? I want a light helmet and at 220 or 225 grams it's the lightest. Plus, I like the fit better than the Petzl Meteor III. | FLAG |

| Love mine. I have been using it now for about four months and can't say enough about it. Super lightweight, fairly well ventilated, and the single wheel ratchet allows you to make adjustments quickly and easily. Very simple yet effective design...you won't be disappointed. | FLAG |

| How is the side/back coverage of it? Perhaps any pictures of it on someones head? Do you like the headlamp attachments/clips? Im quite interested in this helmet as well. | FLAG |

| The side coverage is adequate, probably not as good as some of the old school HB's and Edelrids, but just as good as the Meteor 3. I will try to post a photo if I can find one! Chris | FLAG |

| Lee, did you ever get a Skull cap? Ive just been milking my original BD along, but should really start thinking of retiring the old gal. | FLAG |

| Hello. I ended up buying a Petzl Meteor II instead because it's weight is nearly identical to the Skull Cap (according to a review on Supertopo) and it has a longer track record. I like it! Lee | FLAG |

| I have a Trango Skull Cap. It's comfortable, but because its so light, its not very ruggedly built. After a few uses, the headlamp strap in front busted. I also bought a black one which was stupid cause I climb in Phoenix AZ and the black plastic heats up to 150 in the summer sun. My girlfriend has a Meteor III. When we climb together I use the Skull Cap, but when I climb with my buds I also "borrow" her Meteor which is a much better helmet in my opinion. | FLAG |
