Getting There
Start: Sun Valley, Idaho Drive out Sun Valley Road (8.5 miles) until you start heading up the Trail Creek Road. Head up the mountain pass and there will eventually be a BIG pull off (on your right) before the first wall and a second smaller pull off (on your left) near the more impressive wall. You can see the cliffs from the road.

I'm in the process of making a guide that will include Trail Creek, which has about 30 or so routes and is the closest cragging to Sun Valley. Look for "Idaho Underground" spring 2012. Cheers, Dave Bingham
I will be traveling to sunvalley mid july is your guide book done. I cannot find it online. Does this carag have any moderate climbs on it (5.10 and under), and is it mostly sport, trad, or mixed?
The newly published guide should be available in the SV area by next week. There are a few 10 and under climbs at Trail Creek, some sport and some crack. Wolftone is another area crag with moderate routes worth checking out. Look for the book and other info at the elephant's Perch shop in Ketchum.
Dave, I will pick up that guidebook for sure, I will be in Sun Valley in about a week. can you give me a sense of the range of routes and whether it's sport or trad? I saw you mentioned some sport, I can climb up through 11's but will have my kids as well who are more 8/9. I will look up Wolftone too and would love to hit City of Rocks, just a matter of how much driving I can do. Thanks, Scott T.
