The Toy Boat is a great place for an introduction to climbing in the Rushmore area. Moderate / easy routes, short, and fairly straightforward. Due to these factors it can get a bit crowded. A perfect place to start your day or cool down at the end.

Climb up the easy slabby "stairs" to the left of the dike to clip the high first bolt. The rest of the route remains fairly low angle and there are plenty of small holds, but the unpleasantly slick feldspar keeps your attention.
