The Tower of Zen offers both short, moderate routes, at the base, and extensions to more difficult climbing on the overhanging headwall above. These routes are in the shade in the morning and late afternoon.
Allow 10-12 minutes to hike and scramble the trail, and descend the rebar ladder from the Grotto.
