The Tangerine Dream Area (Torture Machine Area in the latest quarry guide) is located between Right of the Roof and the Slander Sector at the top of the climber's trail that ascends the massive rubble pile at the base and is easily identified by a prominent orange streak (Tangerine Dream). Routes here range from 5.9 to 5.13a in difficulty and the large number of moderate and shorter climbs makes this a popular area.

Some of the more popular routes here include Minimizer (5.10a), Whammy (5.10a), Wonderstuff (5.10c), Tangerine Dream (5.10d), Conundrum (5.11a), Double Whammy (5.11b), Maximizer (5.11d), Technicolor Tango (5.12c), Vertigo (5.13a).

Can we rename this the Tangerine Dream area? It's far more remarkable (at least visually) than Torture Machine, which relatively few people get on.

The name mirrors that of the most recent guidebook but agreed that a better name is the "Tangerine Dream Area" and will change it to such.
