I am thinking of coming out next week from NY to climb this traverse. Is the route in condition? anybody have news on this route? I assume ice axes etc will be needed but has the snow cleared from the ridge?
Any interested partners are welcome, otherwise I expect to solo

The season has been funky, but I climbed the west ridge of Forbidden on July 12 and it was in shape. We had a mind to do Forbidden-Torment but decided against it because the conditions were pretty bad.

So...I imagine it's in shape, but it still seems hard to get a weather window. Good luck!
