Carried out 5 boxes of butane cans and a garbage bag filled with ... Lots of stuff.

Next time you guys go up there pls bring a few trashbags and pick up some butane canisters and caps! :)

I have no idea what happened but it all looks like it was dropped off the top of the quarry cliff. Every time I've climbed there this year it has been a lot of crazy dangerous rock falling but this has gotta be the craziest of them all.

I would be careful with disposing or even possessing a bunch of bags of empty butane canisters. Not illegal per-se, but could potentially get you into an interesting situation if you were to get pulled over. Ian McG

Thanks for picking that stuff up! I was there today but wasn't really sure what the disposal procedure would be. badmoonrising

Be extremely careful transporting empty butane canisters especially with the current state of butane hash in CA right now, you could face jail time or a huge fine for simply possessing the canister. Prettt stupid when your just trying to clean the place up Hand.jammin

Probably a stupid question but I'm not in the know... what's the problem with having butane canisters? Mike Watson

Also, we're talking 100-200+ miniature canisters, the insanely large quantity is what makes this. This would be kind of like having a trunk full empty cough medicine packets, which would definitely get you in trouble...
Heard today that the local PD may get involved, so it might be a good idea to take a hands off approach to these things.

Maybe the needles are inside the butane canisters! Ian McG
