TN Sport - August

I'm coming to a wedding in Knoxville on August 10. I lead in the 10's sport, hopefully 11 by then. My girlfriend follows in the 9's. Is Obed the best spot for us? Are there many shady routes? Swimming after? A comment on the section page described rusty bolts.

If you walk to the very end of little clear creek wall there is a small trail leading down hill. This will take you to a sweet swimming hole with about a 10ft tall rock to jump off. Its a good wall to climb too. A couple 5.7s, a 5.9 and some good variation of 5.10 climbing. Thats our go-to summer spot.
Do beware though that most of that wall is on private land however we have never had issues. Just dont be too loud, pack out your trash and keep your dogs under control.
