Titanium Albatross 5.12a
Add Photo Printer View
Description A very steep and intimidating face, but unfortunately it appears that many holds have broken off this route. Lots of rock scars and the "big loose flake" mentioned in the guide is gone, even after attempts to save it with epoxy. May not be 5.12a anymore, and it might not even go.
Location Located on an overhanging face that starts halway up the formation. 3rd/4th class scramble up to the base with some small trees (shared with Unnamed 5.9).
Protection 5 or 6 bolts to 2-bolt anchor.

| A shame but not unexpected. Should be re-established. I loved this climb when I did it, apart from the death flake. Everything will go! |

| When my psyche shifts from the Rattlesnake Area, I'd like to revisit these great crags. Steve's right: there's always an Ondra out there... |
