Zig Zag is a fun one move wonder route. A must do ...

Description

Tim's Jam is the very obvious zig zagging fist to offwidth crack on the east face of Wedding Rock. Walk off and down vista trail. This climb can be led or easily toproped. When visting the area in 1969 Royal Robbins made an early repeat of the route.

Location

Obvious wide zig zag crack on the east(inland) side of Wedding Rock.

Protection

Wide crack pro. Gear anchor.

Tim's Jam (or Crack) aka Zig Zag is a decidedly non-ocean type feature. Although not particularly high (20 meters +/-) it is an airy climb with wide-crack laybacking and thrashing. Photo shows the spot right below the crux.

Fun route, lead a left variation that bypasses the wide upper section that felt about 5.9+.

old school 5.8, get those feet up on polished smears and crank out some liebacks, or do some heinous overhung offwidthing... Fun route!
