Has anyone here done it? The only decent info I've seen on it is in 'High Seirra: Peaks Passes & Trails.' I'd be curious to hear how quality the route is (I know the approach is a pain) and how old school the 5.9 rating is.

Thanks!

Big Boulder, just a bit downhill from Temple of Ka...
It's real 5.9 for sure.

EC Joe has a better than decent TR on the thing.

One gets a grand view of it from the Gorge of Despair.

Darn... we need to get the photo things right.... how to do?

So Royal, we be looking for a TR, ASAP.

I'm sure it is. Climbing Tehipite Dome is a dream of mine. Time Warp seems like the easiest way. I doubt I'm up to it right now, but if I could find a partner I'd give the old college try. Last July I did the long, boring as hell hike out to Tehipite Valley and the bug to climb Tehipite Dome just got worse. Anyone wanna team up with me? Royal

love to climb that. I have some other sierra projects also (more to the north) that I have been trying to get partners for for years now.
