Lyme Disease Rock, Ticks Ripped My Flesh 5.10b

Trails are closed from sunset to 6:00 am. MORE INFO >>>

An interesting start leads to the first clip . Climbing up fun jugs on a gently overhanging wall ensues for three more clips to a bolted anchor .

A really fun climb reminiscent of a gym route . Well bolted with a clean airball if you should falter . "Great for running laps" .

On the east (right) side of the jagged arete .

Watch out for a large tree that grows very close to the climb. A large fall might end you scraping along it on your way down. A pretty good route for Castle Rock standards though.

This climb is a ton of fun. Tough to spot the beta around the 2nd bolt (coming out of the overhang) which I thought added to the difficulty. Other than that, big holds + big moves makes for a great climb
