DescriptionA sunny location that sees very few climbers. The short & easy approach and decent routes make for a nice destination on cool winter days. Getting ThereFrom Cottonwood, head toward Sedona on 89a for about 8.7 miles, turn left on a Forest Service road (#525 i think) and drive for about 8 miles on a dirt road, following signs for Loy Butte. The crags are located on the east side of the road, which is the right side as you drive in. The Beehive is located at about 8 miles in and is the easiest to find. There is a more direct approach from Sedona that is given in Castles In The Sand, but these are the directions I have used.
