beginning the crux section

Very highball problem following the obvious line up the North Side of the Sword Boulder. The problem has a series of fun dynamic moves. Use the tree on the south side of the boulder to down climb.

The higher you go the more pads you are going to need. The landing area is mostly flat with several small rocks.

Larry Petterman and myself did this back in 1982 as a toprope and we called it "You Dog You" Larry got the FA.

TR= Invalid.

I wouldn't say invalid, as I can imagine TRing a highball boulder problem like this and calling it an ascent.

It might be more bold with only one pad though.

Did the "sword" name predate the FA by Larry Petterman? If not, we should correct the name.

definitely a little more overhanging than it looks in the photos! :O

Straightforward bottom to a mid height crux leading to some glorious jugs and ending on a bit of a 'thought provoking' topout.
