BETA PHOTO: The Streambed Boulders
The Streambed Boulders are a collection of four boulders that practically sit in the stream. Imagine that. The two closest to the Illmob Boulder are called the Kissing Cousins, while the stream actually runs beneath the other two. Most of the problems here have been left out of the guidebook, but nearly all of them are worthwhile. Classics include EZ Cheese, the Riverbed, and Seinfeld, but for something more difficult, give Provia a try.
Locate the babbling brook and follow it upstream. Ok, so thatís probably not the best approach. From the Zoo, look across the stream and youíll see the Streambed Boulders. From the Illmob, look towards the Zoo. These boulders are sitting between the Zoo, the Illmob Boulder and the Yosemite Boulder.
A quick overview map w/climbs shown for reference.

The ground gets lower as you move out then becomes a hole straight through the boulders, if you get scared remember the boulder behind you and you can get a no-hands knee bar between the two boulders at any point on the traverse. Finnish at the end of the chimney where you come out on the other side of the stream by Bul...[more] Browse More Classics in NH
