DescriptionThis is one cool cave! Since it is a good ways underneath Mound Woodson, this place stays cool even on hot days and the cave can keep snow and ice in it well into June some years. Woodson, closer to the south than the north side. The best way to find it is to walk the closed road right up to the base of Md. Woodson. From here, locate the massive boulders on the south east side with the burned out and vandalized caves under them, and head right from there and into the aspens toward Md. Woodson. When you get to the dome, look for a low hallway/tunnel, crawl through it to an opening, and then crawl through the next tunnel and into The Stone Cold Cave.
