This route was ascended from the bottom to the top in one long day in the late summer of 1979. The first ascent party, comprised of Tom McMillian and Eric Zschiesche climbed the route clean with no falls.
Starting on the lower East toe of Pingora, the route ascends discontinuous crack systems, mostly 5.8 - 5.9 to a face pitch 5.10+ R to gain the bottom of the Sickle crack on the Beckey aid line. The upper pitches on the route were freed at the 5.10 - 5.11- range. Excellent route that was done prior to cams and sticky rubber. Enjoy and happy trails
