Know the location of this area? Show us! We don't know it, but we're working on cool new features that need it!

Description

The Short Block is the boulder located to the right of The Depression Wall and to the left of The Next Bloc. The major feature of the boulder is a major deep groove slanting to the right. The whole boulder is about 20 feet wide. As with many of the other areas, a slopey top out is encountered at the ends of all the climbs.

Thanks to Mat Sahli for cleaning up this very unique boulder.

Getting There

The Short Block is the boulder right on the trail located between The Depression Wall and The Next Bloc. The obvious groove can't be missed.

The Powers That Be is a very unique climb that follows the prominent deep groove. A perfect mixture of power and touchy-ness is needed for this very deceiving line. What looks to be a nice slabby climb with a very large feature is, instead, a tough route that is bound to be a great project for people. A sit start on an obvious block below the groove brings you straight into the burliness of the groove. Several power moves requiring just enough technique lead you to the famous high step of the ro...[more]   Browse More Classics in MN
