Description 

The Rock Garden has lots of lines just a few miles off the main road. If you know where the Texas Block is, continue on and Rock Garden parking is on the left hand side. I have even seen some Unaweep projects in Rock and Ice magazine that are in the Rock Garden area.

It has a quick approach, a good variety of boulders, and lots of potential for me. In the Colorado Bouldering guidebook, there are 5-6 pages on the Rock Garden.

Getting There 

This is just a bit past the Texas Block area on the left hand side (assuming you're coming from Grand Junction). There's a dirt lot on the left.

Per Kevin Hadfield: this is just after mile marker 150 on CO Hwy 141 on the south side of the road.

Start on the overhung southwest side of the boulder and begin to move out and right. Use not bad holds, then head around the corner and start to move up. I loved it. I thought it was a lot of fun.
