Across the paved road from the big Split Boulder, past a clump of boulders (the Beehive) is an obvious lone rock perched off the ground on smaller stones, The Pedestal.

See the directions to the Sit Down Area. It is just across the road, on the right as you are driving in, about 25' off the pavement.
