Starting up the crack

Description

This area extends from the Dog Walkdown, between this area and the West Main Bluff, towards the northwest.

There are some excellent crack climbs here, as well as face lines, of all difficulties from 5.6 to 5.12+. Since it faces roughly west, this area is good on summer mornings and afternoons in the cooler seasons. The rock here is generally great, but some lines have a bit more lichen than those on the East Main Bluff.

The order of the areas from the Dog Walkdown to the left, as seen from below, is:
Warrior Wall
Last Chance Wall
Wall of the Unclimbables
Outback Wall
Down Under Wall
Seed Wall
Freak Brothers Wall
House of His Healing Presence
Karp Wall
ET Walls

Getting There

The best access is via the Dog Walkdown. The trail to the walkdown is found about 1/3 of the way between the entrance to the parking lot and the circle drive. At the bottom of the walkdown, head right around the corner to the first open area, where you can see two steep cracks about halfway up.
