The mapping tool

How is the zoom controlled for the mapping tool? I've been specifying the coordinates of the areas that I've been adding and it seems as though the level of zoom varies. It would be nice to be able to control the level of zoom so the maps are more useful to the users. For example the zoom on the Mallorca page map is zoomed all the way in, which makes it totally useless. It would be nice to see the whole island. On the Valldemossa page map the map is also zoomed all the way in. The zoom should be further out so you can see nearby towns. So far, both of these seem consistent, but now look at the Valldemossa Main crag page map That's zoomed out the way that I'd like the main Valldemossa page to be zoomed out. Let me know if there's some method to this madness.

As an aside, using the satellite view might be more useful than the map view. Being able to identify the location on the cliff band, local foliage or other untique identifiers would be aided by while still maintaining the ability to see nearby water and roads.

Thanks,

Anthony
