Warning Access Issue: The railroad tracks proper are private property - No Trespassing DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

This route is the biggest drip located beside the railroad tracks. Just watch out for the trains; they're loud and often. Do not stage on the tracks!

Location Suggest change

From the parking area, walk north along the flats west of the tracks, about 10 minutes (see the area map).

Protection Suggest change

Lead with screws.

Top rope access varies considerably from season to season and even from week to week. Sometimes you can scramble up about 50 yards to the south (climber's right) of the route. More often people go north (climber's left). Most people appreciate crampons while on the steep, frozen slope above the cliff line.
