DescriptionThe largest unbroken formation in the Alabama Hills. Home to long, clean face routes on outstanding rock. Getting ThereFrom the Meatloaf Campsite, walk directly toward truffle Tower. From the base of Truffle tower turn right and scramble up a corridor between Truffle Tower and a large boulder. After about 60 feet of scrambling, drop down and right through a cave/corridor. Of all the routes on 'The Loaf', Alabama Hills Gang has a flavor all its own. Unlike 'The Pangborn', AHG starts off with sustained thin slab work before reaching the nice patina plates that the rest of The Loaf is known for. So, lace them shoes up tight!
