The Knight from the west.
This is a the second largest crag of these small crags. It is just right/east of Chair Rock
. It has a half dozen routes or so. From a distance, it has a sort of slender, spire-like appearance. Up close, it is a bit less impressive.
Rap 120' off bolts to the SW. Eds. Note, from Allen Hill, there is a good crack route on this rock that someone who has done it should enter into the database.
From the fence line, hike 0.5 mi north, drop down to the rocks. Bear right to the right-most formation, just right of The Chair.

The route starts up a funky offwidth crack with two hand/fist cracks inside it. The geometry is such that the hand/fist cracks are frustratingly useless most of the time, and offwidth techniques are required. The smaller you are, the more likely you'll be able to semi-wedge part of yourself into the large crack and/or take advantage of the hand/fist cracks. The difficulty eases after 25 feet.
