classic Gunks problem
Start as for The Buddha, but do not continue up to the jugs, instead at the corner move out to small edges to the right and top out above a vertical seam

I did this one many years ago and thought it was just the coolest problem ever. The tension, the technical, the power, the purity and location of the problem all with a perfect landing make this problem and the whole boulder a must stop!!!

The first ascent was by Ivan Greene. The Illustrious Buddha was one of the first of his modern Gunks problems in the late 1990s/early 2000s, opening everyone's eyes to the potential the area had to offer in the way of modern Hueco style bouldering. This boulder problem, which thousands of trad climbers had walked by, began the Gunks bouldering era that we now know today.
