Clayton with his foot deep in the hole

Description

Starts below the huge hueco on the West/Swouthwest face of the HUB on crimps and with feet on the boulder. Move up to the hueco with a left hand, cut your feet, heel hook the hueco and dance up razor-blade pockets all the way to the top. The crux is moving up from the hueco and the climbing eases up substantially from there. A fall from the top would be real bad.

Location

Found on the West/Southwest face of the HUB about fifteen feet South of Fat Hunk of Burning Love. Starts with feet on the big boulder and moves to the hueco and then up.

Protection

Pads, a bunch of pads and a spotter or two.

This tall problem was climbed ground up, so there are still some loose holds that will break. There is a loose block at the lip of the hole, and take extra caution up high.

My friend Chris L was on this route today and two holds simultaneously broke above the "hole." Nasty fall, glad i was spotting. Anyway, chances are that the grade goes up a bit now - both holds looked to be popularly used (chalk and beta photos).
