Mountain Project continues to expand with Hiking Project, and we're giving away loads of gear from Arc'Teryx, Superfeet, & Zeal. Check it out!

The Gem Stone is probably best described as the far right side of the Rookie Wall formation, and provides superb overhanging climbing with a beautiful view of the rolling Palouse hills.
Routes range in difficulty from 5.10c to 5.12c and include the super steep climbs Hello Nasty(5.11a), Gem of a Different Stone(5.12a) and Massive Attack(5.12c).

Getting There

From Rookie Wall, keep heading East along the base of the wall, past a broken section, to where routes appear again.
